The Alliance for Water Efficiency announces the official launch of its new water efficiency web site Home Water Works (www.home-water-works.org), featuring an advanced household water calculator. This stunning web site was created to give consumers the best and most relevant information about conserving water at home, and offers water saving tips and information about every major water-using fixture and appliance found in homes today. The Ecofile is an award winning and pioneering sustainablility and environmental radio program. Sponsored by CKUA at the University of Edmunton in Alberta, Canada, the Ecofile monitors a variety of environment and economic indicators and provides education and information on issues related to sustainable economic development. For example, hear the five part series (Episode #258-262) on Natural Capitalism & Biomimicry with Paul Hawken and Janine Benyus. The Ecofiles last show was in October 2002. The show was on the air for six years and produced 310 shows.
