About Green Taxi:
Green Taxi is a hybrid taxi service fro Missoula County from 6am to 3am. Green Taxi provides citizens and guests of Missoula with a more fuel efficient environmentally friendly transportation option. Green Taxi had to establish a public need for this valuable service and prove their case in front of Mountain Public Service Commission. (Transportation on non-emergency medical and psychiatric patients to or from medical appointments at heath care facilities are prohibited by the Public Service Commission.)
Sustainable Practices, Products, & Services:
Green Taxi uses a Toyota Prius because of its low emmissions and fuel efficiency, which was purchased locally. We recycle and intend to educate riders on the benefits of a more sustainable transportation option.
