About our Products:
We specialize in top quality, handcrafted herbal medicines. We use the highest quality plants and ingredients in our products. Not all herbs are created equal. We believe that using carefully selected organically grown or ethically harvested wild herbs is the first step toward good medicine. Our certified organic and ethically wildcrafted herbs are never irradiated, fumigated or sprayed and are always non-gmo. We go one step further and use certified organic alcohol for all of our extracts. We are committed to organics for several reasons. We strive to support the small organic farmer and the plant biodiversity they ensure. Organic herbs are better for people's health, and the health of our precious planet. Buying organic also has minimal impact on the environment and wild plant populations.
Our Policy on Rare Plants:
Meadowsweet Herbs is committed to the preservation of plant species. Several plants such as goldenseal, echinacea, American ginseng, false unicorn and lady slipper are threatened in the wild due to overharvesting and loss of their natural habitat. We either do not carry these plants, or carry them exclusively cultivated. We are proud to offer organic echinacea, goldenseal, and American ginseng.
We are locally owned and operated by herbalists. We sell the highest quality herbs, supplements, essential oils, natural body care, homeopathic remedies, and books. We offer numerous classes as well as private consultations. Herbal consultations are designed to focus on an individual's health care issues and empower them in the healing process. Consultations consist of creating an individually designed program focusing on herbs, lifestyle and diet to address specific health care needs and optimize well being. We are an environmentally friendly company. We recycle, compost, donate time and money to local and national non-profit groups, and encourage customers to refill empty tincture bottles for a twenty-five cent discount. Important Dates & Facts:

The MHG is an opportunity for herbalists and enthusiasts to meet, confer and have a great time in celebration of the plants! The MHG offers classes for the beginning student to the advanced herbalist. Returning this year will be the Tea Kitchen, Silent Auction and The Botanical Ball! Classes are many and range from Chinese medicine, medicinal mushrooms, herbs for kids, herbal first aid and so much more!
This year they are pleased to offer three extra 6.5-hour intensives on Monday Aug 4th. Join the MHG and their distinctive presenters for special in-depth classes designed to engage and entice even the most experienced herbalist, continuing education opportunities are rarely this approachable or fun!
