The Orchard at Flathead Lake

About The Orchard at Flathead Lake:
We are a second-generation, family owned orchard overlooking the east shore of Flathead Lake in NW Montana. Our main crop is certified organic, world-famous Flathead Cherries, but we grow a bit of this and that as well. We also make jams, cherry BBQ sauce, cherry chutney, toppings, and other yummy stuff using fruit grown at our orchard. We let the fruit get good and ripe on the tree so we don't have to add much of anything. Orchard products and fresh fruit are available online and at many fine establishments across Montana.

Sustainable Practices, Products, & Services:
The Orchard has been family-owned since 1976, and we've been growing organically since 2002, receiving Organic Certification from the MT Department of Agriculture in 2006. In addition to raising our family in a healthy, sustainable environment, we strive to educate other growers and the public about our practices. We also do some consulting to help other growers transition to organic.
