About Secret Seconds- YWCA Missoula: Secret Seconds thrift stores support the YWCA's mission and programs aimed at eliminating racism and empowering women. All three stores offer high quality, affordable clothing, shoes, housewares, furniture, and accessories.

Important Dates & Facts: Secret Seconds originally began as the Women's Exchange in 1965 - it was open Thursdays and Fridays and sold "white elephant" items. Today, the stores provide one-third of the YWCA's program budget. Programs include a 24-hour crisis line, domestic violence shelter, services for homeless families, a safe visitation and exchange center, a racial justice social marketing campaign and GUTS (Girls Using Their Strengths)! summer adventures and after-school groups for girls ages 9 to 18.
