I build dry stone free standing walls, retaining walls, patios and paths. I am Certified in Dry Stone Construction by the Dry Stone Conservancy and the Dry Stone Wall Association of Great Britain. I\'m educated in Landscape Architecture (BLA and MLA). My goal is to promote the use of locally-sourced stones in traditional dry stack walls (no mortar).
Sustainable Practices, Products, & Services:
By using local stone, I reduce the transportation and fuel costs associated with non-local stone. By not using mortar or cement, the carbon foot print of my projects is quite small. I use few riverine quarried aggregates and the local stone quarries have limited environmental impacts. Dry stone walls last for generations and are reparable.
